Agency: Shelter for At Risk Youth

This agency provides a home for at risk youth. Our mission is to work with these individuals to develope a plan that can enable them to achieve self-etseem, improve independent living skills and develop self-determination, and providing programs to help these individuals to give back to the community.

Codes of Ethics Policy

The primary mission of case managers to have obligation to articulate basic values, ethical principles and ethical standards.

1. Relationship with program volunteers, collegues, and other professional
*Staff will respectthe human dignity and civil and legal rights of all program.
*Staff will respect all elments of social welfare system and cultivate a professional cooperation with segment.
*Staff will serve each case with appropriate concerns with no purpose of personal gain.

2. Professional Conduct and Pratices
*No Staff will use their position to secure personal privileged or advantage.
*No Staff will act in their offical capacity in any matter in which they have personal interest that could impair their objectivity.
*Each staff will report to the director without reservation, any corrupt or unethical behavior which could affect the integrity of the organization.
*Staff will not unlawfully discriminate against any program participant or other staff member on the basis of age, religion, race, color, sex, creed, national orgin, ancestry, marital status or any other characteristic protected by law.
*Staff will respect the integrity of private information.
*Staff should not display favoritism or preferential treatment of one participant or group.
* No staff should deal with any social services program.
*No staff should recieve or give gifts to or from program participants.

I understand and further agree to adhere to the codes of ethics and that any voilation of the Codes of Ethics could result in discipline up to and including termination.
